On 6/6/07 I bought a subscription from a representative of Fidelity using the usual tactic of telling me he was in a contest and I could help him out. On 6/7/07 I canceled my subscription by sending in the form provided by that same representative. Since I did not hear from them I thought the cancellation had been accepted.
On 6/20/07 Fidelity drew $65 from my debit account.
In that same week I sent a letter telling them I had cancelled the account. Now they are telling me that I did not cancel within the 3 day window and refuse to refund my money. However, I know I mailed out the letter on the day after the sale. So—Fidelity want to claim I was late while they wait two weeks between any replies that I receive. They have been slippery and deceitful every step of the way.
