Magazine subscription door to door SCAM... Fake Charity Ripoff

Complaint / review text:
Just want to make everyone aware of this scam. They go door to door selling subscriptions for magazines. They say they are part of a charity helping inner city youth in Chicago. They say that since they are a charity you can deduct your magazine subsription from your taxes. Once you order something they give you a reciept and tell you that you'll get your magazine between 90-120 days. After 120 days I guess they hope you forget that you ordered anything, but if you remember good luck trying to get a hold of anyone to let them know you havn't recieved anything.

The phone number on the reciept they give you is never answered and the voicemailbox is full, so you can't leave a message. Emails sent to them are never responded to. They sold to me in California, so I'm not sure how big they truly are. I filed a compliant with the BBB, but I was by far not the first person to be a victim here is some more info that I found on the BBB website:
