I have been asked by this company for a "too-good-to-be-true" opportunity that went exactly as a prior "consumer complaints" submitter described it would. I went for my interview today and I got a feeling when I walked through the door that this company was a fly-by-night. I know that when you're looking for work and your skills aren't being identified, you can seem desperate, but I'm not that desperate so, when they called me for an interview, I was interested but upon arrival, I did not feel comfortable at all.
I did not give them my SS# as they requested on the application and I expect to hear back from them this afternoon to offer a second interview at an event. If I go (should I?) I will offer to follow them there in my own car. I will not drive there myself.
Aside from this platform, is there someone I can report this too? And will it matter?
