This corporation sole purpose in doing business is to rip off the consumer. They also practices illegal acts in the process. Basically my story is outlined below:
1. I fell for the late night get a pool for $349.00 scam.
2. I called to make and appoinment. While trying to make the appoinment I was told if I was married my husband needed to be present.
I advised them that the property was titled to me and this had nothing to do with me being married or not. The argument continued. I told them I was divorced, they further wanted to know when I was divorce. They also wanted to run a credit bureau report to verifiy. I refused and advised them it was illegal to run a credit report on me.
This is where I should have been smart enough to walk away. (I did discover they did run a report)
3. When the salesman came out he tried to hard sell me a $16,000 pool. When I refused he called back to the office and said I could getr a deal on a show pool for $9000. I still refused. He called the office and got the pool lowered again to $8000.00. I then agreed.
4. When the saleman and I starting going over the the paperwork when he ask me to set up an automatic draft to pull out monthly. I refused, he calls back to his office. I explained that my accounts are handled thru my business account and I would not give out my banking information. He called to his office and a gentleman there wanted me to set up a seperate account and EFT.
Again I refused and sent the saleman away. Thank God I was smart enough to get my deposit check and all the paperwork back from the salesman.
5. About an hour later I received a call from another man who said he was the manager. I went over everything, he knew I was mad and insulted. He again lowered the price down to $7,000. I gave him a $200.00 deposit via my credit card and he said that I would be receiving the contracts to sign and return and that I would have a pool by the 4th of July. This all took place on June 7th.
On June 21st I received a letter in the mail from this company stating they were sorry that they could not do business with me.
6. On June 25th I called wanting to know about the letter. He said there was some confusion. I said cancel and I want my deposit back.
7. On June 28th no deposit was refunded on my Credit Card. I called and spoke to a gentleman that was fast talking and refused to refund my money. When I told him that he had 2 hours to fax me over a receipt that my credit card was refuned or I would contact the credit catrd company, file formal charges with the Federal Trade Commission, file complaints with the State Of Georgia and State of Alabama consumer affairs division. He told me that he does not take threats lightly.
8. When I went on the internet to locate the corporate office in Nevada I found this web site. Oh by the way the Nevada corporation is nothing more than a shell corporation.
This company must be stopped!!!
