KDS is a fishy smelly scam!
I would like to thank the other posts for preventing me from ever going to their interview. I smelled a scam from the very beginning and this is why...
1. They called me and sounded very urgent to get me into an interview that very day, I said I could not, and they acted as if this was the end of the world and I was screwed. First off any reasonable company understands that most qualified and professional individuals cannot drop their day and go to an immediate interview. Also the fact that I have a schedule and cannot make it that very day should be somewhat of a positive thing for them. I agreed to drop my plans for the next day to go interview. The reason that they want you to go interview immediately is because they know that any intelligent person will research the company before they interview. Well, they don't want you to have the chance to do this because then you find out all KDS's B.S. All over the internet.
2. Second, look at "christy's" email address. Most company's that are real company's have a company email address that they conduct business through, "Christy's" email address is clearly not a company email, I don't even know what server she goes through, it's definitely ghetto and a fishy sign things are not right.
3. They give you a web address to check out. Sounds good right? Every company has a nice homepage to check them out. However the second I went to theirs I said to myself, "this cannot be for a real company". It has music playing, hardly any information and a lot of flash to distract you from the lack of material. Secondly and most importantly, their website is not directed toward their customers like a marketing or sales firm should, it is clearly aimed toward people like me and you who are looking for a job.in two of the three links it talks about people interested in employment. For a real company this should not be on there, it is completely unprofessional and trashy. Their website should be aimed toward their clients, not towards potential employees.
4. Here's the kicker... They claim they are in 15 different U. S markets and worldwide. Hmmmm. If this is true why can I not find a website for any KDS except for this Chicago one? The reason is because there is not one. A national company should have a national website which leads you to a local office, this is not the case. Oh wait, I did find the websites for their other markets, they are craigslist ads written by individual scam artists. It's really funny actually because the craigslist ads have the exact same sales pitch for "why we are hiring" and all that that the career builder ad does, they are all just copied and pasted, the career builder ad just looks a little better. This company is a glorified lighpost job offering.
