On March 31 a young man came to my door soliciting me to buy subscriptions to magazines. He said he was trying to earn points for a trip with his college. I hesitated at first but he was very persuasive so I agreed to purchase a 52 week subscription to TV Guide for $36.00. I wrote the check to FNT.
The young man said I would start receiving my magazines in about a month. The check cleared my bank on April 6. I haven't received any magazines yet. Today's date is june 1. I called the phone number he gave me several times and always get a recording saying to "leave a message and then hang up".
None of my messages have been answered.
