May 30th I was called by this so called company was told that I was a runner up in a 1 million dollar sweepstakes and as a courtesy from the credit card company they would send me magazines of my choice but I would have to pay a publishers fee of $3.45 instead of doing it like any normal company would do weekly or monthly they decided to break the payments up into 12 payments of $74.75 essentially doing the math is the same thing.
I was told that the first set of magazines were trial based and that I would be sent a master list to choose from. I asked questions specifically related to money and they seemed to answer my questions stating that there was no contract I could cancel anytime I liked and start up again, pretty good bargain NOT!
The first woman I spoke too seemed very nice but had no idea CT meant connecticut she thought it was Court. She pretended that the supervisors were busy so I could be transferred to someone else. Once transferred the girl spoke like a mile a minute, said she was recording for my benefit yet was very quick to hang up the phone, during the second conversation I had told them I had no money I was unemployed at the moment and not to process my order until i got everything in the mail.
Well I got home later that evening to find that the only money I had in my checking account saved for my dental insurance that I absolutely need because I have impacted wisdom teeth was gone.
So I did a reverse look up on the numbers that I was called from and one of the numbers came from a persons house.

This number is registered in whitepages under
O Connor, Kevin
7219 N Rockvale Dr.
Peoria, IL 61614-1030
So feeling extremely dumb with the situation I report this and hope that justice takes place for all these people that fall victim of this scam.
I am cancelling my account which is such a hassle because of medical things I need to take care. Lets get the media on this and expose these people!
Again I told them I had no money and wanted to see what was in the mail first but they took the money out of my account anyways. The recording that was done never states that.
