This is not about a rip off but the attitude of a SmartStyle hair stylist in Florida Marianna Walmart. You sign in then you wait your turn as we all know. I have dealt with nice hairstylist there as they do my hair but it is the atmosphere of unsupervised people who can do anything they want with no one to answer too. I waited for my turn and when i noticed that the two girls where busy i went into walmart and did some shopping then i came back and asked the one girl how long i need to wait and she said come back in 30 minutes and so i did and i sat down to wait my turn. I waited another 20 minutes and then she called a guy that was after me and i went up to her and said it was my turn—well she hit the ceiling telling me if i was in such a big hurry i should go make an appointment at a regular beauty shop. She was rude and i was so embarrassed by her drawing attention to me and what is was all about was she wanted to wait on pretty boy that was a friend of hers or something instead of me. She was mad at me for being there and if i wasn't there she could have cut pretty boys hair. The kid was about her age and in my book they suited each other. I don't know why i just didn't leave but i was in shock and she wasn't going by the name list because i think she cut a guys hair before me anyway but i didn't want to say anything. She was rude while she cut my hair by her demeanor and the things she was saying and i don't remember a whole lot because i was still in shock and by the way the pretty boy gave me a go to - look when i sat down in the chair. She did cut my hair okay—i didn't say a word while she was cutting my hair because i was afraid to.
When she go through she took the cape off me and threw on the floor and stomped over to the register and i paid her and by the way i did not tip her. I told her she had been rude to me and she hit the ceiling again saying she was not—she doesn't realize from the time i reminder that is was my turn to the time i went to the register she was rude to me and was so loud that a customer went to her and said she would come back another time, anyway when I went to the register to pay her i told her she was rude then she got loud again and i was so upset by the treatment i wanted to get out of there and when she was raising he voice at me as i was leaving two kids about 20 or so came up not knowing what was going on turn around to me and one called me a bitch. Iwas so upset about the whole situation and i called the main office to complain and they got the supervisor of that division to call me and you want to know something she used to work at the same SmartStyle and she was nice to me when she cut my hair the first time but after that is wasn't the same. Somehow i did ask her about getting my roots done and she said you don't make appointments you just come in and i don't think she wanted to be tied down with such a job at least that is the only reason why she was never friendly to me after that. I really don't know and i told her she was rude to me in her demeanor when I walked into the salon one time to buy something and i stood at the register and she was right next to it and she never looked at me or said hi or bye or anything so i just left. The hairstyles answer to know one—the company may not care about them so they don't care about the customer i don't know but what happened to me was a horror story and i wish i could have sued just for the heck of it but she didn't destroy my hair she just embarrassed me infront of a lot of people who didn't know what was going on and all she could do is yell out if you are in such a big hurry go to a regular shop and i had signed in over 1 hour ago. I have been dearly effected by what happened to me and the supervisor said she will take the matter seriously—well i want to know what had been done and they can't tell you. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed you never know who is going to ruin a beautiful day which mine started out as one.
