ILD Teleservices called me at my business. I was told they were updating directory information and wanted me to confirm some company information. So I said ok. I was ask if the name of the business, address, and phone number were correct. Each time I said yes. Then I was ask about a Web page. I told the guy we were not interested. He got all upset and said I should say only yes or no.
He started over asking the same questions. I told him that he had the right information and that was all he needed. He kept on till I would say yes or no to the information. I answered what I felt he needed to know and said I don't want the web page and that was all he needed to know. I hung up on him and he called me right back (2 more times). Each time i told him NO THANK YOU and hungup.
I get the phone bill and it has a charge that I don't know so I call Bellsouth. She tells me they can take the charge of but that it can be put on again. I had a block put on the phone so no one can charge to our phone. The phone company told me about the phone number to reach the company on my bill.
I will call the company. I looked the company up on the internet and found that the same thing has happened to others. When I read the report, I remember talking to the guy and it was the samething that happened to me.
