A salesman came to my door and I was nursing my new born baby so my five year old daughter let him in. Him came right in and starting giving me his line about being a college student going on a trip, etc. I subscribed basically just to get him out of my house, but felt very awkward after he left, like something wasn't right. He was very nice and pleasant, but pretty pushy, which I chalked up to good salesmanship. He also asked if I could pay in cash, which I did not, but he took the check anyway.
After he left, I seriously considered canceling the check, but did not. It is now March and surprise, surprise, no magazine. I just came across the receipt and decided to call the number and it of course is bogus! I am very irritated and know that he hit at least one other house in the neighborhood, which I forwarded this email to. Buyer Beware!
