We have been taken by the best.
We went with blue haven pools because of there long standing in the pool business.
After getting bids from other dealers and after being told about all the problems with the (other) guys by our blue haven pool rep.
Pete johnson we went with blue haven pools.
The problems started from the very begining when work could not start due to a delay in permits//
After a few weeks in waiting the normal time for permits we call the city office only to find that the permits are ready and have been ready for some time/.
Blue haven came out to our house and picked up the first ck to begin.
So far so good.
From that time on we never have seen any workers put in more than one day at a time or for that matter a complete day.
All the work is sub/out and no one ever calls you to up date you.
The crew dispatcher was never aware of the work to be done or the work that was done.
The failed the plumbing inspection 2 times/
Damaged my house with the back hoe/
Ade a large hole in house to run electric and left it open untill i called to complain//
Set out electrican to house who became very rude and begain say things about my house and the condition that my yard was in.
It seemed to me that he was gunning for me because of complaint from pool com[any rep about me.
The gunite that was put in was washed into pool due to strong rain at the day of install.
They had to come out and redo the gunite.
After the redo there was a large lump in center of pool from the gunite that washed into the center.
They just left it untill i called and said it was no good.
They came out and jack hammered out of the middle.
The brick work is uneven at the corners //
The drilled unneeded holes in my house/
Damaged the pool removing old slab of deck that was due to be removed before hole was dug
Unable to get man out to house.
Left all work fill and and piping not used in my yard.
Pool heater was stolen from side of house and i was told that they are not liable.
The pool is going into its 6th month and still not done. There have been about so
Many things that have gone wrong it hard to remember them all.
The deck was poured and the following day it cracked in 3 places
The screen-in job had holes in the beams that where made by mistaked and where never filled / doors and beams had many scratches that where left undone there where loose bolts.
Overspray and dry paint on beams and screen.
Deck coat is not done yet but the first part of it had to be done over.
Not one part of this pool has been done right the first time.
I know that the pool company will say that it past inspection and its up to standard and that we are just to picky.
I have photos to
prove all that i have said.
After many calls to mr johnson and with no return calls back i have become very upset and wished that i never got a pool.
I was then told that work has stopped due to non payment.
I told mr johnson at no time did i refuse to pay anyone and that no one ever came out to pick up the ck or to look at any of the work along the way.
In good faith i gave mr johnson the ck for 15 thousand dollars to finish the pool with bal to be worked out after all damage was repaired mr johnson agreed and check was picked up.
The ck had on it the work that was to be done for this amt. Someone at blue haven crossed this out on the the ck.
That same day the pool heater was removed from my house.
I known that it may have truly been stolen.
But is the practice of pool companys to remove things when there is a problem with payment.
To this day and it has beed 2 weeks we have not herd from blue haven or pete johnson.
When we called his cell phone he was out of town for a week.
When he got back he was out sick for a day still no call back.
We feel that at this time we are going to have to get some type of legal help.
This has been a big strain no me and my family who have waited so long for a pool that is just a big hole with rain water and is a safty problem.
