The salesman on TV says "FREE SHIPPING" FREE Return shipping! NOT TRUE. The first time I called to return the junk they sent I was told I would receive an Return Auth plus return package. 2 weeks it NEVER arrived so I called again to inquire. Then I am told I am responsible to pay for shipping... Not just return but now ALL shipping.
No surprise - you get different answers depending on who you talk to. If you don't like one answer hang up call back and you will get a completely different answer. The Shop Well it cost me 33.00 to send the same item back they billed me 78.00 for.
Shop NBC customer service is designed to pi* off the customers so much the aggravation is not worth the return. Next it took over 3 months - several calls to get this "sorta figured out" - and a partial credit to my charge card that SHOP NBC kept charging even though they had recieved everything back.
Apparently the sub vendor Tiger Direct claimed they had not received it - even though the RETURN CONFIRMATION FROM THE POST OFFICE - PROVES they did. It became MY responsibility to prove everything. The customer service people at Shop NBC - simply hang up - or disconnect your call when they get to a point they can't do anything about your issue. So you have to call back and start all over again.
I can only think of 1 other time I ever experienced so much hassle and aggravation. Horrible customer care. I am out the shipping costs of about 100 bucks. So the next time the pitchman is trying to sell you something on TV record it. Better yet turn the channel.
