Today, I received a letter from Saint Matthew's Churches, P.O. Box. 21210, Tulsa, Ok, 74121-9938. Of course I knew right away that it was a scam when they used a p.O. Number.
I am so upset just for the fact that they want money for a prayer cloth so that prayers can be answered in the form of monitary value. This is Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. What offends me the most is I do believe in the concept of prayer cloths. It is in the Bible.
I myself have been asked by people to come to hospitals or their homes and they want an annointed cloth. I buy hankerchiefs (Out of my money) and they are annointed with oil and the person is prayed for. It has nothing to do with the cloths but the power of Jesus Christ and Faith that I've seen some people healed. To do it for money is outrageous to me. I would never respond to these people!
They are like the money exchangers outside the Temple in Jesus's day. And any Christian knows how Jesus felt about that.
The word needs to go out all over this country and stop this kind of stuff. I am upset that they pay a tiny fee and get free postage when we all have to pay our 39 cents to mail anything.
They need the Real Prayers! I will start doing that now.
