Global Lotto In Amsterdam
Rip - Off Lotto scam artist took 1,998.00 from me and my family during the holidays, fraudulent people Nationwide

I received a letter in the mail stating that I had won the sweepstakes the prize was to be 120,000. They enclosed what appeared to be an actual check for 1,998.00 that was supposedly for the taxes on the money I had won. When I called the number on the piece of paper I got an answering machine that said it had no room for new messages at this time.

So I went to my bank and they actually cashed the check I received the money from the bank that day and payed our house payment and other bills that was a week from christmas! I kept trying the phone number and finally I got threw only to be hung up on!

I kept trying to call and no one would answer this time. One week later I got a phone call from our bank saying that the University of Wisconsin had put a stop on the check. That was supposedly who was sponsoring this sweepstakes. My husband and I had to get a loan to pay off our checking account.

We reported this to the FTC and the FBI so far nothing has happened I really wish the scammers would be caught or that we would get some kind of restitution for this scam!!!
