I was getting ready to move and placed an ad on craigslist looking for a temp home for my puppy. She is a disabled basset hound and needed someone to care for her just until I was done moving. I didnt want her toget out or get stepped on. So I posted the ad and she responded saying that he would love to care for her for me for free. She had raised bassets in the past and seemed to know alot about hounds so I trusted her.
After we were done moving I got in contact with her right away. No one would ever answer the phone or call me back so I started to worry. I e-mailed her over and over again with no luck. I even drove by one day and no one answered the phone. I even tried to call for my dog but I didnt hear any barking.
I finally got ahold of her after trying for three months and she informs me that she tried to contsact me (which is a lie) and she had problems with my dog. She GAVE her away. Then refused to give me the name and place where she took my beloved Lilly.
She hung up on me and I have not been abl to get ahold of her since. I am so angry with her for doing this to our family. She was so young still and so needy.
