I met the manager "Dave Fussell" one of the manager of the crews a while back. He was a good sales talker. So good that he made me believe he actually cared and wanted to be with me. So I quit the job I had and I started working for him so we could be together. It was going door to door. Selling Magazines. Well after a while I figured it out. He makes more money off people that is actually doing the work. We didn't get that much money. We went door to door trying to sell people stuff that they didn't want. We worked about 12 hours a day. Most of the time he would be back at the hotel while we all worked Not only that but come to find out he was also doing drugs. He also forced one of the girls to have sex with him. She was a good friend of mine and plus the van driver's fiancee. Most of the people that we sold too never got their magazines!
Everyone please becareful of any of the magazine's door to door sales. Most of them are scams. And also becareful if they also try to get you to work for them. It's not worth giving up everything to travel. Yes you get to see different places but it's more of a hassell than it's really worth. If people wants magazines they will get them from the store or from the company itself. If people come to your door saying they are trying to win a trip to Cancun, Bermuda, Or somewhere like that, DON'T BUY INTO IT. They will also use they are doing it for college or high school. They will also say they are trying to move up with the company that is sponsoring the contest. Don't blame alot of it on the agents... The Agents are doing what they are told. All of them will be young and won't know what they are doing till after it's done. I been there and done that. I regret it everyday now! Although it did teach me to more careful of who I trust now. These companies are nothing but CONARTSITS. They pick these young people to do the dirty work!
