Samuel Berrios has 3 children ages 13,12, and 3 years old. I was in the military from 2005 stationed in Hawaii. On September 13 he got up and left my 3 children and I. He made everything seem like it was my fault. Listening to some stupid people in the military saying I was having an affair, but the whole time he was. He used that excuse to leave us. His son was only 16months old when he left. He packed his clothes that night and flew back to Jacksonville, Florida. I was a single parent in the Army, had no family to help me. I then found out the reason why he left was because he was having an affair with a woman by the name of Brenda Camanera, from California, who at the time was also married. He left his children to have a life with her in Florida. I was struggling on one income, deploying to the fields having to leave my children with friends that my oldest daughter started having serious mental issues about her father leaving. One day my son got really ill, I had no money because he left me with every bill and to support out kids alone. I called him one night to please send me some money for Gatorade, and other medical supplies for our son, he wired me 40 dollars!
Then when i filed divorce and received full custody of 3 children, he then said He was not going to pay sh* because he wants a paternity test on all children! After 12 years of marriage. I served my time in the army and now I reside in Jacksonville, less than 10 miles away from him. Let me see, the last time he spoke to his children was on July the 4th! I asked him to help me get school supplies for the kids, he refused! For my daughters 13th B-day he came by the house and slipped an envelope under with 15 dollars in it! He didn't even call his 12 year old daughter for her B-day on November 1st of this year.
He now resides with his girlfriend (home-wrecker) in a huge house in middleburg, drives a corvette, and when the kids went over there in July. He bragged to them on what he bought his other son (which looks nothing like him, remember she was married and pregnant in California, didn't come to Florida til after the baby was born). Recently he has been sending $100.00 a month. That would be $33.33 per child! He is mad because my youngest son calls my fiance daddy, but can you blame him? His father abandoned him and his sisters. The other day my oldest daughter called him, because she told me: mommy i want to hate me father, but i can't i love him, is it OK if i call him. I said sure.
NO ANSWER! So my sister called his best friend and told him that my daughter missed him that is why she was calling. My ex had to call his friend, to get our number to call back! He owes the children no $13,000 in arrearages. I wrote the Governor, Senator and Mayor about this man. Why do men like this get away with it. He works for his uncle, who is a millionaire, owns a cleaning company in clay county, i will leave the name out cause I fear for my safety with this man! He refuses to abide by Florida laws and deduct any support payments due to my children, yet he had to pay $800 a month when his wife took his ass to court! And as for the girlfriend. What kind of woman are you? Just imagine when he does it to you. Do you ever say: don't you wanna call your kids, or even you should go visit? I guess education plays a big role in that one, so I really can't say much about that.
My oldest daughter is taking this really hard, but I told her: It's going to be fine baby, because when you get older you will know what to do in life and he will regret everything he has done to you and your brother and sister. This man knows how beautiful his kids are, so, so beautiful and yet still remains shallow and selfish! God is watching you and knows what you are doing to your children, so all I can tell you, is god help you when judgement day comes around!
