You've seen the commercial on TV for Quik Brites, those neat little lights you can fit in dark corners and closets? Don't buy them by phone. I wish I hadn't!
I expected to pay $22.98. The day before Thanksgiving my PayPal debit card was charged $58.94. I called Quik Brites to cancel my order but Miss Helpless couldn't find it. Finally she said the order couldn't be canceled as it was pending. Would I call back Friday after Thanksgiving? I did and a recorded message informed me they were closed until Monday.
The Monday after Thanksgiving I called again to cancel my order. After half an hour of the usual wailing saxophone I was told my order had shipped the day before Thanksgiving. So Miss Helpless had lied to me. If I return the items I will pay for shipping both ways. This is outrageous.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and what did I get? A recorded message. Like she's ever going to call back.
