We are the parents of a nine year old son. Over the past nine years I have repeatedly tried to maintain a positive relationship with my ex, for the sake of our son. I have only enabled him to continue to be irresponsible and immature. Previously, I paid a personal attorney to amend our original Child Support Order and Visitation Rights... Generously giving a blanket forgiveness for the past due balance. I had the arreages erased and the balance brought back to $0.00.
Then remarkably, he got in the hole again&to the tune of several thousand dollars!!! With an Income Deduction Order in hand, I am still unable to collect! Each time he begins a new job and I find out, he quits! Even through his lack of support, I have NEVER denied him access to his son. I have even driven across the state to deliver my son for multiple visitations.
I am saddened that his son is neglected by him. He recently remarried and has charge over three step-children. Why should his own be second to any of these? I implore the help of anyone who can aid in the recovery of funds due... Or at least prohibit him from providing to other children what he fails to give his own.
