Our group of 6 arrived to Knotts scary farm around 7:30 pm. We entered quickly and headed straight to the rollercoaster boomerang. We then heade to our first maze the grudge two.
The line was pretty long so me, my cousin and my boyfriend got out of the line to use the bathroom, while the rest of our group stayed in line. When we returned from the bathroom we got back in the line.
As soon as we got back in the line security approached us. They assumed we were cutting in line and asked to get out the line. We explained to them that we were already in line and that we had just went to the bathroom, we even told them to ask the people behind us, but they refused.
We didn't want to argue so my boyfriend and I got out of the line and explained to them that we didn't know we weren't allowed to do that. We were going to meet our group at the exit of the maze when one of the five securitys got in my boyfriend's face. He was telling him things like, "what you gonna do, huh tough guy" and "What you gonna do something about it."
My boyrfriend had not done anything for them to approach him this way so I told the security to back off that we already got out the line and we were going to leave to meet our group. The security told us it was too late and that we had to leave the park.
As we walked to the entrance of the park they followed behind us. The whole way they were harrassing my boyfriend. They were telling him things that were provoking him to get mad and respond in violence, but he didnt.
Another security approached us and asked what happened. My boyfriend explained to him what happened and how we listened and got out the line. The security then asked him if he had touched any of the security guards, and my boyfriend said no. He then asked the securitys if my boyfriend had touched any of them and they said no, but they he had gotten in their faces wanting to fight them. I then tried to explain that the securitys had gotten in my boyfriends face for no reason first but he refused to listen and told us to leave.
So we continued to walk towards the netrance where we met up with another security. This security then asked my boyfriend for his i. D and asked us to follow him. We followed him to the entrance, where he stopped to talk to us. The five security guards we're still there and we're still saying things to my boyfriend, so I asked the security guard to ask them to leave because they were making things worse. But instead he told me to shut up and that he wasn't talking to me.
This got my boyfriend mad and my boyfriend told the security guard to not disrespect me like that. After he told them this they began to get in his face again. I held my boyfriend back telling him it wasn';t worth it that they we're trying to make him do something that way they can arrest me. Then a security grabbed me from the arm and began to push me. I turned to him and told him not to touch me, that we have not done nothing wrong. They then threatned to arrest my boyfriend.
We finally left the park. Having no ride we walked to the nearest McDonalds. The rest of our party having no idea what happened called to see where we were at. I quickly explained to them what happened. So they then went to the office to file a complaint. There they were given attitude and accused of lying.
Finally, the security told the rest of our party that when my boyfriend got out of the line he tried to throw the poles that are attached with rope, that are by the lines, at the security. This was obviously a lie. Because if that would have happened then we wouldn't have just been escorted out of the park, my boyfriend would have been arrested at the spot, if he would've done that.
So I'm filing this complaint because my boyfriend and I feel discriminated against. We spent $45.00 to have a good time. And we didn't expect to find ourselves with this sort of rudeness and rascism. All we are asking for is our money back.
