I am single mother of a 2 year old and 18 days away from giving birth to another child. I received a check in the mail today for 1,577.41. I was in aww... I just couldn't believe it. Years ago I did some online lottery things and thought, could this be real. The letter that was enclosed with the checkcd, was from the british lottery and stated I had won a total sum of like 85,000, 000.00. WHAT!!!
So, I call Judy Johnson, my (so called) claim agent, as I was instructed to do. Judy assured me this was the real deal. She stated this british lottery was going global and that me a 17 other people had won this lotto. I just didn't understand why I was sent money to just send that money somewhere else. Judy advised me that Port Huron Hospital (the business on the check I received) was my sponsor. They were sponsoring me because alot of people were not able to pay the taxes and other of fees on their lump sum and were losing their money. So, I have a sponsor! This is Great! So, I deposited the check.
I felt funny about it, like they could get me account number some how and take my money. So, I called the bank and the teller told me it was a scam and reversed the deposit. Then, I got online, found Port Huron Hospital and contacted them. The lady was very nice and explained that their checks had been stoled and everything on the check is correct, except for the money being payed. So, I'm disappointed and needless to say, I am not 85,000, 000.00 richer!!
