I was struggling to find happiness in my current job situation when a woman named Kate Malone made it abundantly clear that my life would change forever & that I would financial independence if I had the "opportunity" to work for Nova Marketing & Promotions.
It was all a crock. There was no opportunity, simply a well organized cult of followers who were willing to give their lives to a "business" that was completely about scamming people & charitable organizations.
I worked on the toys for tots campaign as I was sucked in just like everyone else with the promise of thousands of dollars & little to no actual effort involved, you work smarter not harder. I worked 12-16 hour days during the holiday season, and was scolded for not working on Christmas Eve and the day after christmas. I was consistantly told that if I wasn't working 6 days a week I wouldn't go anywhere. To try & bring people in & make sure they knew what an "opportunity" we were providing others. It was a great opportunity, yes the perfect opportunity to ruin your credit, abandon your friends and family and become brainwashed by saying things like "juice" and never dropping negativity bombs.
You would go into an office & be scolded & repremanded if you ever seemed like you were having a bad day or if you ever had anything aside from a smile across your face. You worked outside in the snow, the rain, and if you ever had the slightest sign of a lack of energy you would be scolded like a 2 year old and told you would never make it very far within the company and you were wasting your opportunity.
The sad thing is that I fell right in, I believed it all, I fell hook line and sinker. I abandoned my friends, my family, everyone I knew & loved. I believed money was going to charities. I believed that I would be successful and make money and that I would never have to worry about living pay check to pay check again.
I believed... And I shouldn't have... First of all. I watched in horror as the toys that were suposedly being "donated" to toys for tots were thrown away or re-sold and people were none the wiser about this. I was horrified to learn that only a certain portion of the "gifts" that people had the opportunity to "pick up" were actually going to the charities. If there were 8-10 different toys & goodies on the table, only 1-2 were actually going back & helping the charity, the others were lining Ms. Kate Malone's pockets & making her richer & making her cult more stressed out & run down.
I also watched as people were struggling to make rent, struggling to make appearance, struggling to find peace, struggling to move ahead. I watched the struggles & now I just laugh at the sheer stupidity of it all.
I hope no other person is sucked into these tricks. Please do yourself the favor & if you're involved get out now!!! You'll forever be screwed, and you're not helping anything other than Kate Malone's bank account... And when she says that she has a huge one... I wouldn't believe her... I was close enough to know that she was in almost $10K in credit card debt... For someone who boasted about how well she had been doing... Well... You tell me... Is 10K worth of credit card debt really doing that well?
