I received a letter, postmarked from Spain which indicated I had won a lottery in the amount of $615,810.00 USD. The letter stated "due to the mix up of numbers and names, we ask that you keep this award top secret from public notice until your claim has been processed and your money remitted to your account".
On a separate form, they asked that you provide account information so that the funds could be deposited. And on receipt of the funds, you were required to pay 10% of the winnings.
