This young man, very likeable, came to my door selling magazines. He said it was for a trip to Cacun.
I suppose I was very gullible as I get High School students selling magazines and other items and I like to help them out.
I didn't really want any magazine but I saw one that I thought my Great Granddaugter would like, I believe the name was "Turtles". My granddaughter is five years old and rather special. My grandson and his wife had adopted her from Cambodia.
But after he left I sort of had a bad feeling about "making money to go on a fun trip" so I called the number in Las Vegas that was on the copy of the sales ticket and they assured me it was legitimate. I called my grandson's wife and told her and asked her to call me when they got the first magazine as he said it would be 6 weeks or so. The date on the sales slip is 03 Mar 06.
Beings she hasn't received I thought I'd check it out on the internet.
