I ordered two shirts from Rescuetees.com for an Xmas gift in December. However, the items did not fit & I contacted the company to get a return auth. # as required. I proceeded to promptly mail back the items (unfortunately, failed to have a tracking #). I received my visa statment the next month and the CREDIT WAS ISSUED, however, they failed to issue me a credit for the sales tax portion of the transaction (which is against the law!).
I contacted Theresa (I believe the owner?) & indicated that they failed to issue the sales tax and she said she'd check into & have Carlene issue it to my next months visa statement. The following month, there was no credit issued for the sales tax & when I called back, they informed me that they never received the items and I would have to produce a signature stating they received it. I explained, that I sent it through regular mail, however, they had already received it because the CREDIT WAS ALREADY ISSUED!!! I was told the credit was a mistake and they were recharging my credit card!
After several emails - I simply decided to dispute the "re" charge with my Visa company. NO COMPANY ISSUES A CREDIT UNLESS THE MERCHANDISE IS RECEIVED - THAT IS MY PROOF THAT I RETURNED THE ITEM!
I recommend that NOBODY ever uses this company: Rescuetees.com OR Great Lake Collectibles & CLothing as they are lying crooks who should have their license to do business taken away. I am in the process of contacting Mike COx, Attorney General for State of Michigan. This women was angry that I was persuing the Sales Tax refund and therefore, decided she'd just say they never received the items! Again, I have NEVER had ANY company just RADOMLY issue a credit - therefore, you KNOW they received the items on the day the credit was issued.
Do not do business with this company if you know what's good for you!!!
