I have been dealing with Jim Walter Homes since December. The problems began with the original permits and have continued throught all phases of the building process. These problems include: building delays; materials exposed to the weather; poor workmanship; not meeting building codes; not building according to the approved plan; dumping waste oil (in Chesapeake Bay clean area) and non related trash at job site; construction not supervised; no english speaking person at job site;threats and pressure to sign documents and take delivery of home; not following their own contract requirements; payment and payoff interest posting date irregularities; numerous promises not kept; lack of warranty repairs. The list goes on and on!
My home is located in Virginia, however, I would be interested in talking with anyone that has had similar experiences. I am currently collectly information for a class action lawsuit.
