I wanted to inform Judy in Hawaii that Consolidated Media Services (CMS) and Media Outsourcing (MOS) are the same business. They have the same physical address and phone number. Media Outsourcing changed its name to Consolidated Media Services, presumably because of negative publicity surrounding the Department of Justice suits against the old company. It's interesting that they seem to be trying to confuse customers by pretending to be two different companies.
Consolidated Media Services is owned by Cross Media Marketing Corporation at the following address: 461 5th Avenue, 19th floor, New York, New York 10017. Once CMS has your information, it submits your address, phone number, credit card or checking account information, and any other information they have to Cross Media Marketing to be entered into their huge database. Cross Media Marketing then sells this information to other firms. It's important to close your credit card and checking account if you've been targeted by CMS. If you don't, you'll find other charges mysteriously appearing on your account.
