As the post below states—a kid came to my ex-husbands door—I was taking care of my sick son. This kid said he was going to school in the UK on an ASU scholarship for the Walter Cronkite School. He said his mom was paying 1/2 his cost but he had to raise the rest of the money. He said I looked just like his mom and that they lived down the street from me. I said I didnt need any magazines and he said I could donate them to the PHX Children's Hospital, which I did. He was a bit of a smart-a*, told me his mom and dad were divorced and that he was raising his 2 yr old daughter. He asked me to re-fill his water bottle and he left. I thought he was a clean-cut college kid—but then I noticed his dirty fingernails and my red flag went up. I thought it was very fishy and I felt ver yuncomfortable with him in my home and after reading emails that were forwarded to me about the same problem, I put a stop on my check. It is disgusting to see these kids peddle their crap from door to door. Go get a real job like the rest of us.
