My father came to live with me after my mother died 8 years ago.
He developed dementia, and became difficult to live with, so I tried to get him some help by calling his doctors. My brother did not like this idea, and talked dad to come and live with him. Dad moved everything to Franks house, all moms belongings, jewerly furniture etc. They blamed my wife and I for treating him badly, now they were stuck with him.
Well, when his dementia got worse, Frank put him into the mental wards of numerous hospitals, none of which would keep him, because he wasn't a mental case, just neede dsome meds to calm him when he got confused. Then he dumped him in this rat hole of an adult home called Olsens Rest home in Nesconsett where things just got worse. Then my wife and I took over care of him again, cause Frank washed his hands of him, saying to us he should be dead, he's a no good old man, and things that were said were just horrible, I couldn't take it. I offered to take him home again with me, and Franks repsonse was "NO I own him, he bleongs to me, I have the Power" and that's an exact quote.
When we brougt dad to the bank, we had found out that Frank and his wife Nora, took all his money, cashed in Annuity funds, and basically stole about $200,000, and left him penniless.
We have a detective looking into the forged $40,000 check Nora cased in from one of his annuities. The whole family never came to see him again. I took care of him, and went to see him every night, neglected my own family just so my dad would have some company, my wife took him to all his doctors appointments, and we brought him to my daughters soccor games and dance recitals.
Then he got sick, he developed gangrene in his foot, this is th efoot which Nora stomped on while in a fight with an 82 year old man with dementia! The gangrene made his kidneys fail, and he died on april 1. When I called his union to collect his burial fund, we found out Frank was trying to get that too, when we had no money to bury him with, he even wanted that. He had a small life insurance we found, But Frank knew about that too, and tried to get his hands on that as well the day after he died.
He didn't even want us to be able to bury his own father, He or his family, my dads only 3 grandsons didn't even bother comming to his funeral. They took him for everything he had, physically and verbally abused a poor old man with dementia, and left him to die, and then tried to collect his burial fund which is only worth $4000, and we all know it's at least $8000 to have a decent funeral for someone, we couldn't even afford a wake for him, so we had a nice mass, and the funeral home let us have a private veiwing for my wife and my daughters to pay our last repsects.
He has everything in my dads name, his car, his house, his insurance, his cell phones, and probably even his company which is some kind of gutter and fence company that makes no money.
We can't believe my brother did this. My dad's money was meant for all of us, not just Frank Monteforte, and he knew that. He took advantage of everything my dad had, and never even thought of his own children and the inheritance they were supposed to get. This is the same man who took money from his son for car insurance, and his son got pulled over and ticketed for no insurance. So he even stole from his own kid. What kind of man does this to his only brother, his father, and his own children? How can his wife even look at him, how can they both live with themselves.
I WISH EVERYONE IN ROCKVILLE CENTRE NEW YORK, could read this, so they would know what kind of people the Frank Monteforte family is all about... Theives, liars and abusive of the elderly... There are no words to explain how I felt when my dad was lying in that hospital bed asking me what happend to his family. "I used to have so many kids" he said his last day.
At least now I know he is happy with my mom in heaven. And Frank, what goes around comes around, and you will get yours. Everything in dads name, now belongs to me, a sheriff will be at your home to collect my things, and your car will be impunded, and possibly you will have to sell the house that is now in MY name.
