Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Has allowed me to be harassed by my superiors with no concern for the effect it has had on me, my family, or my co-workers. I've had to file a sexual harassement claim after a few weeks on the job. The company did relieve the officer that commited this criminal act against and left me at the mercy of my Lead Officer at my job site. The company gave me no support at all. The statement I had to write was faxed to my supervisor at the General Office Building in St. Louis where an employee of client company retrieved it and called the plant manager on the site I work at and read it to him over the phone.
My Lead Officer treated me with suspicion from that day forward. My partner did the same. I was always treated as though I had a problem. About six months after the incedent I had to start working with the Lead Officer 24 hours a week and he started asking me for sex. Everyday that I had to work with him I was filled with dread over the prospect of having to spend 12 hours a day fending him off.
I did not want to report him because I felt the company and my co-workers would only start treating me worse than were. I finally decided to report him. My pride just wouldn't allow me to walk away from the situation and let him keep doing the things I was sure he'd been doing for a very long time. There has been heck to pay ever since.
The new Lead Officer blamed me for the whole incedent and has treated with resentment and loathing ever since. The same things were done to her yet she told me she wanted to defend him. The client employees wouldn't speak to us for a very long time. Some of them still won't speak to me even though I'm polite and courteous to them. We were told we could no longer use the womens bathroom because we had to walk through one of those employees office to access it.
The officer was removed from our site and offered another Lead Officer position at another site. What slap in the face. The new lead officer has married another supervisor with the company and a nightmare has followed. The company doesn't allow such things, but and exception was made for these "special indiviuals". The cost to the employees under this person is not even a concern. This company treats its officers terrible. I don't have enough room to say all criminal things that go on at my job site due to people out of control and no one to answer to.
