Complaint / Review
Zwallet.com
Ripoff NY

I'm just adding a more details, from my own experience, to what's been said here already:

In my 3 weeks there, only ONE member, who goes by the name Richard Held, claims to have been paid. The introductory letter I was sent said "several members are currently making $3,000 a month, or more!" Like an idiot, I believed him. This economy really hurt me; I've been unemployed since November and was getting desperate. I was vulnerable, and I believe zwallet preyed on exactly these emotions. Held (or whatever his real name is) claims he made $5,700 last month (sounds great, doesn't it?) and has a "big staff under him who also makes an ok paycheck." When I repeatedly asked him, and the zwallet support staff, to send me those names and contact addresses to back up those claims, I was ignored. (Haven't heard from the guy in weeks, though he used to respond within 24 hours to my questions).

Most disturbingly, everyone I've contacted said they've been there two months or less, and has yet to receive a paycheck (!)... Zwallet withholds your first check for two months— now, why do they do that? They say takes time to build up a solid referral base, but the bottom line is: if the pay was really this good, there would be several veteran members still around, raking in the dough and happy to prove it!

Strangely, the group itself was very closeknit, and held itself together by mutually supporting each other. "If we work harder, be more positive, we'll make something of this!" seemed to be the overwhelming feeling. It's amazing how closely hope and denial are intertwined!

In the end it wasn't enough.in the last few days (or maybe longer), everyone seems to have been getting equally suspicious. The questions were circulating all over the board: "Have you gotten paid yet?" Where are those "several members" making $3,000 a month? The questions were coming in from the outside too— more and more of our prospective recruits wanted evidence of payment before signing up. (There's over 400 zwallet members now—or were— and they've been quickly saturating legit help-wanted places with advertisements for "data entry/online recruiters/email processors all over the net. Another scheme— get others to do your dirty work and take theresponsibility..) NO ONE ELSE to date has stepped up to say they've received a paycheck.

There ARE no success stories anywhere on the internet. "Veteran" members have a lot to say however. There's lots of stories from people who had 50 referrals and stayed 2,3 months or longer, which should be enough for at least a $500 paycheck even by zWallet's goofy calculations— but each one of them were credited less than $5.00 (!!)

Bottom line (what the sinking feeling in my gut was telling me all along)— Zwallet relies on innocents and fresh blood to generate revenue (ad clicks, whatever) for themselves without paying its contract employees. I bet they do this for a few months until everyone catches on, then disappear until the heat dies down and everyone forgets, then come back for a fresh feeding.

I think zwallet's days are numbered, though. There's been a mass exodus, and most current members have left the board already. (How many emails you been getting lately, Deb-from - Maine?). I'm filing complaints everywhere I can, and I've been told many of my former co-workers are doing the same thing. So if you're planning on trying out zWallet, just be sure to do plenty of research first!!!
