Acclaim Visa&EDP Reporting 100% Rip-off by the Acclaim Visa—EDP Reporting

Hi everyone! My story is the same as everyone else's on these postings! I got riped-off without my knowledge about it. I have learned about it only when they have already stripped my acount off of $159.95 of my money, that they didn't earn or deserved! As the rest of the people here, I have never authorized any debits to my acount, especially for a credit card. Why would I need a credit card that debits my money, instead of giving it to me? Or, why would I pay money from my acount when I barely have something left on my account? To pay the NSF fees (non-sufficient funds fees)? I don't think so. My bank is already doing their investigation and I hope they will resolve it, soon. But, I just wanted to give my fellow victims a couple of tips (being the victim myself):
-if you are ordering something online, please, read carefully between the lines or among them, because the companies as Acclaim Visa Card (EDP reporting) will always hide the charge somewhere, where it will take hours for us to read it
-use your "null" acount for your orders (acount that have just enoungh money to make an order, if you indeed order something)
-use you credit card that has the least amount of money on it, in order to limit the loss, if that occurs
-Change you acount (the one you use most frequently on the net) at least 1year or year and a half (or 2 years). That will limit the amount of companies that had or have your acount info, by whatever reasons.
I got ripped off the same way most of us did. I am using the internet frequently for aplying for loans, sometimes credit cards, etc. And, this is the first time when I got riped-off online.

Thus, I just wanted to give my word to the active employee of Acclaim Visa Card (EDP Services) who so blindly and selflesly defends Acclaim Visa Card: "You just haven't gotten there yet, in our position. Don't tell us that there are some screens that we have missed or that explain the terms and conditions. Who do you take us for? I, for example, have been using the computers and the net for many years. I have built my own computer, crying out loud! And, you are telling us that we have missed some information while applying online for something, and, that is why we got charged?

Yes, sometimes we all make mistakes, but not on the money, especially for $159.95 for havinf a debit or credit card?!!! Lady (I presume), wake up! I may be stupid (which I doubt), but not all of us! You are telling us that we will debit our accounts for something that we don't need, or debited for something that we don't know what we got debited for? Mam, maybe you don't do the deceptive work (or fraud) in YOUR COMPANY, but that could be because you are not in the work environment where you can see how the fraud is occuring?!

But, your company as a whole does it, and, it rippes off decent people, who in comparison, earned their money and didn't steal it. Mam, I just hope that you will never fall to the fraud that we are experiencing. And, when or when you do fall for it, please don't post your complaints on this site. Please! What your company says about catching our IP Addresses, while making the "order" or "buys" if you will, is also a "BS".

Our IP addresses can be recorded or clocked in by many of the web sites, if not all, but surprisingly, most of them don't rip us off!!! So don't get all technical on us, OK? Our information can be intercepted about 30-40% of the time when we aplly for something, and, out of those 30-40 % a good, knowledgeable 3rd party can process our information without us even knowing about it? Did you know about it? Maybe you did! OR, maybe you didn't! YOUR COMPANY simply stole all of these people's money, including mine! But, rest assured, if not now, your company will pay the debts they owe to all of the people they have scammed! Trust me! To the rest of the victims as me, I am sorry for such a long entry. I hope it was usefull. Thank you.
