On November 17 a student from Southwest Area Votech rang our doorbell. He was selling magazine subscriptions to earn points toward a chance for an advanced automotive mechanics school. Since my wife wanted to get a subscription to TV Guide she thought this was a good time and the student could get the benefit of it. She paid him $60.00 by check (made out to Cash per Mags R Us receipt slip). So far, we have not received any magazines and can't even read the students name on the receipt because he printed so lightly. There is no phone number listed on the receipt so that we can call to check on the order status.
