Jamie Brown contacted us to do telemarketing fir his company Zaga Studios.in total he ordered twice from us the first order was for 1000.00USD and once he was finished his first order he send me a email telling me how great the service was and that they were having great success with our company and he would like to order again only this time he would like to place a much bigger order with us.
When it came time to pay Jamie Brown gave me a song and dance story about some of his staff stealing from him and writing company cheques and using the company credit card with out him knowing it. So he asked me if I would accept a personal cheque and I did.
The cheque did not clear the bank and it was not worth the paper it was written on. After a week of calling him he finally answered the phone and the sob story about his staff stealing from him started again.
Fortunately I did make Jamie Brown sign a contract with me and I also made him provide a credit card for security and I told Jamie that we were going to process the payment on the card if he did not wore us the money by the end of day. He said no problem and to go ahead and put it on his credit card.
Once we had confirmation the payment went through on his card we started and completed his order and as soon as it was done Jamie Brown called the credit card company and tried to have them reverse the payment by telling them that once again someone had used his credit card with out his ok.
This turned into a night mare having to deal with his bank and having to prove that we did the work for him and that he authorized us to do it.
In the end we are still fighting to get the payment for the work that we did for Jamie Brown and we will keep fighting and we will keep telling everyone that we meet about what happened with Jamie Brown.
