It happened to me as well. The $149.00 was taken out of my account on 7/18/05 and I still don't have a check today is 8/26/05. Every time I call I gat the same story, the check was mailed out a couple days ago it should be there any day now, please be patient with us. You can only be so patient for so long. That money being taken out of my account made the account overdrawn. I took care of that problem, (thinking my money was in the mail).
I thought the drama was over. Then about a week after the $149.00 was taken out another company (probably connected) $59.95. I didn't give authorization for that one for sure (not that florida passport was supposed to take that money either) But I hadn't even talked to that company. I took it to my bank and let them know.
I told them that Florida passprt was issuing me a check, and I wasn't worried about that one but I had no idea who agent travel was. My bank is still looking into it and I went to them on 7/27/05. I don't know if I get my money back or not but it's worth the try. If anyone knows how to get our money back please write to us.
I did call Florida Passport to let them know they are on the internet as rip offs.
