Has any lawyer been found that will take on Sheriff Joe? My husband (awaiting a hearing) while in Durango almost died.
Several tank orders to go to medical were ignored, and once he finally got there they would not even give him an aspirn, said he was just fine.
After about 8 days he could not swallow, eat, breath or hardly talk and he waited for his hearing at 4th street jail since the evening before since he came from Glendale Of course they never callled him and then a guard took him back to Buckeye jail.
This quard saw he was having trouble breathing, which everyone else ignored and insisted they take him to the hospital. Good thing they did an emergency Trac on him and said 10 minutes more and he would have been dead.
Well he had his hearing and is alive and the kicker they won't give him credit for being in jail before the hearing 45 days.
Does someone have to die before they make this place fit for humans? I need an attorny to sue this asshole. Any suggestions?
I know all of you are not going to beleive what I say but it is true.
After anyone gets sentenced by a Maricopa County Superior Court judge and is told they are to be released, after sitting in cuffs and shakels for the last ten hours. You dont get released for at least another 10 hours.
It takes over 4 hours just to get you back to the jail and that is on a good day.
Here you are thinking it won't be long and you are to go home and about 8 hours later you are called to roll up and then brought to the front of the jail.
Think you are finally leaving forget it, you have to sit in dirty smelly room with at least 6 or more other people trying to get out of there.
Maybe if you are lucky. You might get to leave in two hours it is usually 4 hours or more.
I know someone at 9am was told to be released and he wasn't let go until 2 the next afternoon.
Come on how long does it take to changed someones clothes and give them back their property and open a door. That seems to take the longest the door opening. They just can't seem to open a door.
What is the deal? Other counties in other states seem to be able to release their inmates in a couple of hours. Are the personell under Sheriff Joe so into incarcerating people and keeping them in hell hole that they just to it for laughs?
Wake up Maricop County and all your voters how can you keep such an asshole as sheriff? Try going there just once when you are innocent and see all the bullshit, maybe then you wouln't vote for that piece of shit.
Of course Joe's bigget supporters are his posse and he would never dream of sending them to he Horseshoe, they get a ticket. People wake up!
