Many stories of cronyism have been associated with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and none of them get much steam. Here is one situation that needs to be answered.
FACT: No inmate is allowed to watch any TV brought in from the outside. All TV's must be purchased at the commissary.
FACT: The TVs sold there are clear plastic (so no one can hide anything inside it) and the price is almost twice what it is worth.
QUESTION: Joe, please fully disclose your relationship to everyone who has an interest in that commissary. Are any of your relatives involved in selling to inmates in your jail?
