Today July 20, I received a phone call from 1-888-655-2411 coming up unavailable.
The woman on the other end named Candy Simpson ID#0113. Stated she was calling from the National Government Grant Benfits, Saying I filled an application online, which I did not do.
She wanted my checking account number and routing number in order to take $29.95. Out of my account. I was told I would receive no less than $8000 and up to 12,500 guaranteed.
I numerous times asked why I could not give them a debit card or send the money western union, and they would not accept.
I was almost falling for it, at this time I was ready to give them my information. I am a single mother of two and could of used the money to ad a room onto my house.
At this time my friend was looking on the internet to see if they were telling the truth and found many reports of them ripping off people.
I still asked for their phone number and at that point we called 1-800-410-1682 and was told they were closed, which was just a recording without any name, open from 9:00 A.M. To 5 P.M. And I was talking to this woman at 5:30 P.M.
When I told her I had found the usacomplaints. Coms and that they were closed she got very defensive. So please beware if you receive this type of call do not give them any information.
