Gardeniers was contracted to install sod at my residence. I gave them one month lead time, contracted on 6/5 for installation on 7/5.
The owner Richie assured me that there would be no problem and requested a $300 deposit, which I gave him.
Well they never showed up on 7/5, I called him and got an excuse about the weather backing up his work schedule.
He said he would be here on 7/8, he never showed and refuses to return my calls.
After leaving him multiple voice mails requesting either my deposit returned or the work completed, I have never received a return call.
At this point I now have to go through the aggravation of small claims court, even then I'll probably still wind up losing my deposit as collection will probably be difficult.
I wish there was a way I could let the local townspeople know about this ripoff artist so nobody else has to go through this ordeal.
