Scheduled a quote for future work to be done on new kitchen cabinets during a meeting with Quality Kitchen Sales Person Mitch Nachbar on Friday, January 28. Provided a deposit check for $1000.00 as good faith otherwise the estimater would not come out to measure. The deposit check was post dated Febraury 10 and the sales request was also post dated. We decided, rightly, not to have Quality Kitchens do the estimate or the work and cancelled the order on Monday, January 31. The receptionist asked that I fax in my cancellation, which I did on Wednesday, February 2, a week before the check and order were to be executed. Received numerous calls from the sales person during the week in an effort to change my mind and continue with the work. I continued to refuse and requested my deposit check to be returned or destroyed.in the next thirty days my bank statement included a deposit for the $1000.00 to Quality Kitchens. It is Mid-June now and I still don't have my money back. I have been put off, hung up on, never returned my calls, lied to and to date no refund. I have a copy of the fax that cancelled the order and have faxed this copy numerous times to the office. Steve Hunt has refused to provide me a refund through his accountant and now I am trying to deal with him. I will contact the BBB and begin the arduous task of small claims court not to mention the added expense. Consumers & fair warning.
