I was contacted on June 15 about a Platinum Mastercard and I was immediately overwhelmed with the offer. It sounded good unlimited spending, $15 a month, you can't beat that. My happiness was short lived after I found out about the one time $129.95 non-refundable fee.
I immediately told the marketing person I wanted no part of this deal if I couldn't get an extension. She sent my call to another woman who wanted to verify my information. I told the woman I didn't want it and she told me it was cancelled.
A few days later the money was taken from my account which led to a $30 overdraft fee. I have talked to four or five people since then and they were no help. I received a letter to send my explanation of what happened but, before I sent it out I received another letter saying that after reviewing my letter no credit was due. How is that possible I hadn't even sent out the letter yet. If you have any addition information please contact me, so we can stop this scam.
