Well, it all started when I joined www.jackpot.com (which is also on here) and clicked and filled out government grant forms. It was all such baloney. Anyway, I received a call and I could not understand the lady. Therefore, somebody else took the phone and explained to me the situation. Anyway, I went through their scam and unfortunately lost 29.95. I got nothing in the mail. If you failed to stop them in the call, if it happened within two days, cancel your bank account and restart a new one. The listing in your account file that will take your money is a series of numbers. I couldnt remember exactly. Here is what they told me originally:
I was being chosen for a grant up to 12,500. Just like everyone else on here. I was glad because I have financial problems between my divorced parents and my own expensive bills. However, I fell for it and gave my account number. Nothing happend a while later and I notced 30 bucks was taken out of my account before I even received any mail from these liars. Don't believe them and tell them off.
If something similar ever happens again:
I was stupid because I use to work for a non profit telemarketing company and instead of giving numbers over the phone, we would send out packets in the mail which you send a written check out in. Because I would explain this all the time to people, I should have been smarter. This site has saved me from a possible disaster. Always check this site out if you are in question of such sketchy companies.
