These people suck! Call your local radio stations and let your city know, anyone who looks @ anything online that has anything to do with finances or even on the outskirts of, will get this mysterious 555-555-1212 call!!!
Tell them to get bent and not to call you. E-mail all of your friends with the 555-555-1212 number and warn them to watch out especially if they are trying to build their credit too, anyone who is is subject to this company Sureway aka Spectra. If you are looking for a credit builder look to Orchard Bank or First Premier or Chase don't get screwed by imitators! Pay more attention when they call you listen to how cheap they sound giving away long distance, automated verification department ran by "John" who would press # or whatever after you give him your information!!!
Call your bank it is easy you don't even need to explain anything to them about being scammed just tell them you want new book numbers and they will change them and send you new checks, but before you do that you need to make sure you have NO pending checks or you will be subject to NSF fees or something close to it! Call the Credit reporting agencies if you call one they will report you to all of them by putting a fraud alert on you, you may need to fax them something but will probably be able to do it over the phone. When you apply for a Mastercard call 1-888-508-7728 they will tell you if what you applied for is legit!
Don't put yourself down or feel stupid because this has happened to a lot of people just trying to get by in the world and everyone has to start somewhere! We just learned the hard way and believe me, I LEARNED!!!
Also pay attention to anything with Walnut st, Champlain, 3458, an investor friend of mine has found many connections between these 3 subjects and they have fraud written all over them!!!
