Gary Allen Hoopingarner SR is $20,000 plus behind in child support. Everytime they find him and have it deducted from his paycheck he disappears. His employer takes him off payroll and pays him as a contractor I guess. He works in auto repair (body work). The sad thing the court ordered $200 a month was half of what the state was going to award me, but he wouldn't sign the "D" papers unless I would accept $200 and at the time I couldn't afford the legal fees going back and forth between two states if he contest the "D". This man has numerous children all that the state of Ohio has paid for. When case worker find him and bring him to court judges do something like award me $20 more a month to go towards arreages Gee thanks! I now have excellant credit and if I went and took a loan out for $20,000 I would pay more then $20 in finance charges, I guess a judge never looked at it this way. My Ex will say he doesn't owe me anything because he hasn't seen his son, ALL fault of his own! My son since he was eight has refused to go for visitation, and it only hurt our relationship when I forced the issue. My Ex was extremely abusive (have only one functional kidney to prove it) Although my son never went into detail other of my Ex relatives would - lets just say my Ex ws not a very good dad towards his son. I have remarried and my husband as far as my son is concerned is his only dad the other was just a sperm donor.

One more note these strict actions on not paying child support that our legal system says they have adopted how about they start enforcing them!!! I am one of the lucky ones I got away, made a good life for my son and myself, make a good living and then I found actual and real LOVE. There are to many honest and decent parents out there trying to raise children that are struggling and really don't know how they are going to pay for the next meal, let alone a roof over their heads and everything that comes with that. As far as I am concerned our court system seems to slap the non paying obligor on the wrist and the obligee in the face!!!
