I bought my first pair of boots at Cathy Jeans today and I was really surprised at how cute they were! But since today everything on sale was final sale (meaning no refund/exchange/returns) I couldn't do anything with it if I wasn't satisfied with it. It wasn't until after I had paid for the shoes when I noticed the sign of warning of cancer or birth defects or pregnancy problems. I would advise the managers to put such an important sign somewhere where the public can clearly see it before purchasing the shoes. When I went to Starbucks a little while later, a saw a sign informing the public about Proposition 65 which had a similar warning so I assume that the chemical causing this risk is acrylamide. I would like the company to avoid adding this chemical in their products so that consumers could buy them without further concerns.
