I purchased FlavorWave Turbo Oven from Canadian Tire in Aylmer Qc. Shortly after, the heater did not operate although the light was on to indicate the heating function. All I got was cold air being blown.
I received a replacement of a new lid with the heating element which lasted less than a year where the same problem reoccurred.
I called the supplier, Thane Direct Canada and was told that I had to purchase the new part (the lid) at the cost of $53.45 (they did not say if shipping was included or not). The cost of a new unit altogether is not much more than that.
I used the product around 3-4 times a month and I believe that it should last longer than that. There are several complaint on the internet regarding this same issue.
