I have not lost any money yet, but I have paid about $4 for 4 books that were advertised as a promotional sale.

First of all, after I submitted my purchase, I didn't receive a confirmation email about my request until HOURS later. During that time, I was concerned that I was going to be a victim of fraudulent activity.

Second, their emails lacked any account information so I could manage my account online. I'm assuming they want you to relax and not worry about your account. But I was very upset that I couldn't manage my account. I complained and received my account information to log on online.

Third, when you access your account online, you are unable to cancel your membership. All you can do is hold your membership for a max of three months or delay shipping frequency. Once again, I feel like this is only a ploy to get you to forget about your account. Because I searched further, I saw that I was going to get a $20 charge for 5 more books in less than a month. Luckily, I caught that and stopped it.

I also discovered that unless you pay for these separately ON YOUR OWN, they will charge you late fees for not paying on time. It's funny how they can charge a late fee automatically, but can't do that for a monthly subscription to books.

I don't trust this company and no one should either unless they have cash that they need to throw away. Because this company WILL do whatever they can to make you forget and charge you exorbitant amount of fees.
