My mother recently received a "Final Demand" from PushPin in regards to an "Equipment Lease Agreement." She use to own a business and had a credit card machine she leased for a year through "Secur Chex" and that was the only equipment rented throughout her whole business. Her business closed down in 2003. Now 10 years later they want to claim some obscene amount even though the equipment has been returned and paid for in full back in 2003. I called the business and of course no answer during actual business hours and just a recording to leave a voice mail. Then when finally getting a call back I told them I would mail/fax them proof of payment in regards to the equipment and that it must be all a mistake on their end, they claimed to say the debt was never paid even though proof is sitting in front me as I type this letter. I truly feel this is a scam and they are targeting former business owners in Illinois. I will continue to dispute this discrepancy being that this company blatantly deny nay hard evidence of proof of ORIGINAL payment to the actual ORIGINAL company.
