After my experience with xhose, xhose pro, and a competitor, I now can say unequivically that expandable hoses are a scam! I first order the blue xhose in Sept. The first one sprung a leak immediately. It cost me $17 to return it for replacement.By the time the replacement arrived, it was the rainy season so it dodn't get used until spring, after the 90 day warranty was up.in 30 days, it spring a leak a weeks later it burst.
I tried as competing brand from Home Depot, it lasted less than 4 weeks before it burst.
Then I saw the xhose pro being advertised with the brass fittings, lifetime gaurantee, and heavier duty hose. So I ordered one thinking it might last longer. It burst the second time I turned on the water, before the hose even finished filling and expanding. I ded get a refund for the second hose, but they refused to refund the first one that gave out after only 30 days of light duty use.
I write more as a warning to anyone who wants to try an expandable hose. These are just a scam, stay away, they don't last more than 30 days. I've had 4 within less than a year with a maximum life of less than 30 days.
