I was contacted stating that I owed 499.00 to Cash Advance USA & I was read an "affidavit" and then basically threatened with arrest within a 45 minute timetable if I didn't come up with the money. Prior to returning the phone call, they had left 2 other threatening messages stating "God help you." They had my address & states there were 3 accounts against my SS number. They transferred me to the "restitution" dept. Where I spoke with another man who said he would give me 20 min to come up with $250 or the Sherriff's dept. Would show up at my door. Well, I didn't have the money & I called an attorney who is a friend who told me it was a scam.
